1066 IS A HAVEN FOR DEVOTEES OF HAUTE CUISINE Six Course Tasting Menu £45 per person or £75 with matched wine
Our 6 course tasting menu is currently on hold – however, if you would like to enquire about a specific date please email info@hastingslytham.com
1066, as every schoolboy knows, was a date that changed our history forever. The Norman Conquest, when King Harold was defeated at The Battle of Hastings, meant that that October day of that most famous of years would forever be remembered.
We’ve named our third floor fine dining restaurant, in its honour; because, we hope it too will become memorable – as a bastion of cuisine of the highest order. On that day, the cry went up “The King is dead, long live the King” and we hope that after sampling chef Warrick Dodds’ remarkable cuisine, that you will agree a new monarch is born – of the gastronomic kind.
His six course tasting menu features dishes such as tartar of Cumbrian crab, marinated confit shoulder and roast chump of lamb and Fylde wood pigeon, all of which are served in this wonderfully exclusive environment.
Diners can choose to have perfectly matched accompanying wines with each course or can enjoy the unique experience of compatible beers. This is the perfect venue in which to enjoy the very finest in food and wine.
