Hastings chef cooks up spooky treats
Tuesday, October 27th, 2009
Hastings’ executive chef Warrick Dodds welcomed a group of local school children on Monday, October 26 for a Halloween cooking workshop
Hastings invited 15 children from St Peter’s Catholic Primary School, Lytham, to cook with Warrick and head chef Andrew Justice for an afternoon.
Warrick, formerly American Express Young Chef of the Year, helped the pupils draw designs onto pumpkins which were then carved out for them to take home.
The children then had the opportunity to get their hands dirty, piping melted chocolate onto cookies baked by Warrick and cut into shapes such as bats, witches and ghosts.
